How To: Access your custom Google Maps in the new version
The new version of Google Maps provides many improvements
over the old one with a sleek interface, easier navigation and extra
features. However, some features had been left behind like the custom
Maps that each user can create. Luckily, Google has been slowly
implementing such old features and you can now access your custom Maps
from the new version. In order to access them you will need to be logged
into your Google account and obviously using the new version of the
Maps.
A. First method
Go to http://maps.google.com . When you click on the search box you will be able to see your recet searches as well as your presets like Work and Home location. Beneath all that you will see a “My custom maps” option that will give you all of your saved custom maps when you click on it.
B. Second method
Go to https://www.google.com/maps/d/. You have two options here, creating a new map and opening an already existing one. Clicking on the latter option will give you a list of your created maps and the maps that you have shared. Easy as that.
