How To: Reset your browser’s settings to default

If you have ever wanted to restore your web browser to its default settings, you will have noticed that uninstalling it does not always do the trick. However, you can restore the browser to default by using their options menus. Be careful when using this feature.

Click on it and press Reset again to start the process. Be sure to uncheck the box in the bottom if you do not want to send Google your current settings.
Firefox
DefaultSettings2
Click on the Help menu and then choose thee “Troubleshooting Information” option. This will open a new tab. In the top right corner you will see a “Reset Firefox to its default state” option. Click on the Reset Firefox button to revert the settings to default.
Internet Explorer

Click on Internet Options from the Tools menu. Navigate to the Advanced tab. On the bottom of the window you will see a “Reset” button. Click on it to restore the browser to its default settings.
