How To: Edit your YouTube history
How To: Edit your YouTube history
YouTube stores every video that you watch in the History list
so that you can remember what videos you have watched and visit them
again. This is usually great but you might want to forget about that
terrible video you watched the other day or you might share your
computer with others and you do not want them to know what videos you
are watching.
First of all, you need to go to YouTube while being logged into your
account. In the left side you will find various options like your
subscriptions and history will be there. Click on it and you will be
taken to the History page. You can edit your history in one of three
ways. You can clear it completely, which means that your viewing data
will be deleted irreversibly, you can pause it so that your previous
history is saved but nothing else will be recorded after you enable the
feature or you can simply delete individual videos. To do that, tick the
boxes on the left and click on remove.
